With the rapid development of information technology and computer network, our daily life is becoming more and more digitalized and network-connected. Digital television, VOD, Electronic Commerce are going to our families. On the same time, pirated copy, intellectual property rights infringement to the producer and consumer is more and more rampant. The conventional encrpytion techniques was unable to do as much as it would like to, new techniques is desiderate to resolve the problem. The technique of digital watermark is being developed under this circumstance, and has been the main method of multimedia copyright protection. Digital watermarking is to embed the copyright information, according to some particular algorithm, into digital host signal, such as image, audio, video, text and so on. Digital watermarking is used to authenticate the copyright, which is the focus in the field of multimedia signal processing. The research and application of digital watermark will be of great value both in theory and application for copyright protection, integrity authentication, access control, broadcast monitoring, customers tracking and the like.According to the above problems, this thesis related these points and the main contribution includes the following parts:1. Research on watermarking based on SVDwe propose an image digital watermark method base on singular value decomposition, this method accord to the ordering and stability of the eigenvalues, the watermark is embedded to this relationship, then we can detect if the eigenvalue is also in order to find if the watermark is to exist. This method effectively improve the problem which is the false positive probability is too high in other SVD watermarking methods. The exist of key matrix does not effect the detecting of watermark. On the same time ,this method is also robust to some image processing such as filtering, lossy compression and nosing.2. Research on video watermarkingwe analysis the popular video watermarking method, especially the watermarking based on H.264, we propose a new real time watermarking method ground on the Motion Vector of H.264, this method realize the watermark embedding and detecting real time. And we research the embedding validity and effect on the video quality and bit rate. simulation experiment shows this method is fast and little influence on the bit rate and video quality. And this also is the base for further research on the new method and transplant to DSP.3. Development of software of broadcast monitorwe first embed the watermark into advertisement, then translate the ad. using the digital broadcast system. The recipient receive the signal and detect if there is watermark in the signal. The watermark make if the advertisement is broadcasted according to the request clear. First we put the watermark into the original streaming, then the video is coded and translated to the digital signal path, at the receive part, the box-on-top get the signal and decode it to be suitable for play. In this signal, we can detect the exist of watermark.
