In recent years, rapid inflation of Internet scale is not only brought forward a higher request to network equipment, also impelled embedded research in congestion control. Index. Therefore, it is important to solve the congestion, problem effectively. The research about network congestion problem has also been a hot subject in both computer network and control theory, which makes great sense in science as well as practical application.There are two primary components in end-to-end congestion control: one is the link algorithm executed by network devices, such as routers or switches; the other is the source algorithm executed by host computers or edge devices. And stability is one of most important criterion to measure congestion control mechanism.FAST TCP is the new variant of TCP proposed by Netlab. We analysis the congestion control mechanism and stability of FAST TCP.We analyzed on current FAST TCP model in detail, and tested its performance. we improved FAST TCP algorithm . Through simulation, we analyzed and compared the throughput among AW-FAST TCP,FAST TCP,HSTCP,STCP and TCP Reno. AW-FAST TCP consistently outperforms other protocols in stability. At the same We use a discrete-time model of FAST TCP that fully captures the effect of self-clocking and prove the condition of FAST TCP's stability on the protocol parameter's value to the case of a network with the feedback delay.
