With the developing of space science and technology in our country, requirements for the space mission ground system become higher. In order to develop the ground system faster and better, it needs the support of Message-Oriented Middleware (MOM). With the help of middleware, the information in ground system can be exchanged reliably and efficiently. Since MOM takes charge of the information exchanging work, the development cycle of ground system software will be shortened greatly.MOM is one of the important technologies in middleware family. MOM provides reliable and efficient message exchanging service for distributed system. Through the analysis of the message transmission requirements in ground system, we find that variant messages should be transmitted in variant and appropriate mode. Under the guidance of MOM theory, a new kind of MOM has been maked out in the paper, which is based on topic quality and Publish/Subscribe Message-Oriented Middleware, TQMOM for short.TQMOM has two main characteristics:First, publishing and subscribing.Second, TQMOM is based on topic quality. Reliable Multicast provides Real-Time and reliable message transmitting service. Overlapped TCP provides service for the transmission of huge file and data stream with high speed. Message Queue guarantees that the whole message would be delivered to the receiver much more reliably.TQMOM is designed as centralized management of system architecture, which is divided into three parts, Register Center, Sever and Clients. Register Center manages all the information in the system, such as all nodes'register information, all the information about publishing topic and subscribing topic. There are two main parts in Server, Queue Server and Forward Manager. Queue Server realizes Message Queue topic quality, and all message queues will be set up in Queue Server. Forward Manager is responsible for file storing and then transmitting. Clients are used as one component of an application, which provide API for upper application programs.
