With the growing needs of the spatial information,people need for observational data to obtain in a faster speed, higher resolution and greater amount of information.Following the structure of the network software B/S and C/S model, G/S model is the third model, Geo-Browser not only support the current browser of the Web browser functionality, but also can browse all kinds of spatial information to achieve the functions of three-dimensional model shows that will be the important direction of the web browser. With the promote application of the spatial information services, great requirements and high- strength , it is require the server to have higher and higher capability. Great data flowing and high- strength compute can not qualified only by one equipment. The capability of the server will be a tremendous bottleneck to impact the Quality of Service of the system.So far, there is not a method to solve the bottleneck of the server in the G/S mode. This thesis origined from the project of the tutor, to solve the the bottlenecks problems of th G / S model of spatial information server clusters as the gloal, on the basis of the analysis of the problems that G/S model was meet in provide spatial information services, proposed use of building a server cluster based on LVS load-balancing technology to solve these problems. In the analysis process of the LVS load balancer mechanism and LVS algorithm, combined with the actual situation choose an improved selection of WLC algorithm and used it into LVS load balancing system, provides a good method to resolve the bottle-neck problems that the spatial information system was encountered.Whole thesis has the following features:1. Based on a integrated system named based on the technology of the remote sensing and Navigation and positioning digital travel system, increase the load balancer module in the original system, designed the main,secondary load balancer module and also the interface of the load balancer and the real server. Finally realized a load balancer system which is based on the LVS teconology and applicable for the G/S model. When design of the load balancer system, Used the hot standby technology, which greatly increased the high availability of the system.2. Depth analyzed the realization software of the LVS technology, referenced the implement method,data structure and the data packet process method of the modules of the ipvs source, designed and implemented all the modules of the LVS load balancer system which is based on the G/S model.3. Repeat tested the original and the improved load banlancer algorithm. With the experimental data to prove that the improved load scheduling algorithm is indeed superior to the original. In addition through the connect and disconnect the "heart line" test to the hot Standby load balancing module, fully test t the system's high availability.4. Analysis to the experimental results , the experimental results show that the author designed LVS load balancer system is more suitable for a G / S mode load balancer system, in improving the G / S model system high availability, service efficiency and service quality, LVS technology plays a very significant role, promote the use of the system will be in G / S model on the way forward very significant step forward.
