The arrival of the Information Age makes personal information expand rapidly. Under the circumstances, traditional solution of data management is not able to meet the newly emerging demand completely. Besides, It's extremely important to share the personal data between different owner at Internet Age.The related research abroad is active in recent years, with the development of related theory, such as, PIM(Personal Information Management), DataSpace, Semantic Web and so on There is no doubt that the Search of Persona data Management and Sharing at Information Age is valuable both in theory and practice.In this paper, we make an effort to apply the Tag Technology that is widely used in the Web into Personal data Management System by tagging, which means to use tag to organize the data existed in PDS(Personal DataSpace). We also share these tags and data in PDS by P2P file transfer. In this way, we are able to manage and share Personal Data effectively.The main contributions of this paper can be summarized as follows.1.Based on the in-depth study of Tag Technology and PIM, We introduce Tag Technology into PIM, and after that we propose a data model and algorithm based on TagTree to organize personal data in the Local PDS and other data model and algorithm based on TagCloud to organize the data in Global PDS.2.We propose a tree-layered architecture to improve the traditional PIM prototype by introducing Semantic Layer between Data Source Layer and Application Layer. By doing this ,We can keep the Data Source Layer transparent to Application Layer and strength the semantic ability of Data Source Layer.3.By making use of the P2P technology to share personal data, we improve the traditional PIM prototype which doesn't support to sharing personal data between different users.4. At last, After we propose the data model, semantic model, and share model of the PIM system based on Tag Technology, we implement a prototype called TaggingPeer.
