The Study Of XML Document Storage Technique In Database System

As a standard of express and exchanging of data on Internet,eXtensible Markup Language becomes more and more popular,But,with the published XML data on the net is increasing,it is a difficult problem how manage these XML documents.At present,There are some emphasis researches that store XML documents with relational database.But because of the great difference between XML data and relational data in structure,as well as some difficult problems such as multi-value elementmapping,recursive element mapping and mix-content element mapping are not resolve deffectively.So storing XML document in relation databasebecomes a hotspot in the study of XML storage strategy.In this paper,Author focus on the research of XML document stored in relation database,analyse the basic semantic information of XML Schema,Firstly,bring forward a storage method of XML document based on R_Schema(Reforming XML Schema).It is created by XML Schema,is a equivalent expression of XML Schema;Secondly,Author put forward the classified node which can be directly mapped into relation,Ancestor is a table that store nesting filiation of classified node;Then,Author bring forward a set of rewritting rules of the R_Schema,use search algorithm to find a R_Schema whose cost is minimum in the R_Schema;Lastly,experiment proving R_Schema method is better than other methods such as TEXT and Xparent on information maintaining,data querying and updating during XML data storage.In conclusion,Enunciation of theories analysis and experiment contrast,Storage method of XML document based on R_Schema is valid in this paper.
