The development level of the industry automation has become one of the significant evidences for the level of the modernization of every walk of life.Internal model control tecknique, developing during the past decades,has become mature and associated with the prior advanced art,and has been applied widely,meanwhile its reliability and stability has been proved during its applications.The research is mostly about single variable and multivariable internal model. During the research and application of industry process, IMC has many advantages, such as fast response, small account of calculation and good performance, especially for the mismatch model. IMC is strong in the process of interference rejection and easy to guarantee stability.The design procedure of the modified two-loop adaptive control combining with IMC control for typical integrator and dead time process is proposed based on the internal model control theory and adaptive control theory. By adding a controller to pre-stabilize the integral processes and using two-loop adaptive control , the system can achieve good dynamic response performance and disturbance rejection characteristics (both input and output).Compare the advantage and stability of the method with the troditional method.The multivariable system of internal model control has been analyzed, and the v norm design methods using decoupling IMC have been discussed in detail. Finally IMC has been used to fat multivariable system mainly introduced the generalized inverse method and main manipulated variable method, and put them into simulation.
