The Design And Implementation Of Teaching Management System

With the enlarging of the scale and the growing of number of student enrollments in colleges and universities, there is higher and higher demand for educational management development as well as the increasing of complexity. Utilizing of the limited teaching resources, increasing utilization rate, ensuring the information inquiry and normalizing the management have become core in educational management and even in the college management. Therefore, information and network as well as exploitation of teaching management system are becoming the most urgent demand at present in educational management.The study of system includes the following aspects: 1 .Analyzing the importance of educational management under the context of the academic credit system management. 2. The author intends to explore the detailed designs and implementations of this system, including the maintenance of the information data base, examination results management and student selecting classes, course scheduling systems, as well as teachers and students query functions. 3. The author tries to introduce the auto course scheduling systems as they are the research difficulties.This thesis contains five chapters to illustrate the design ideas, principles and implementation methods of this system.Chapter 1 Introduction reviews previous study and backgrounds of this subject in this thesis. And the author presents status and functions of management system based on web in teaching management. And the significance of developing this system is also discussed.After that, the author brings in the significance and applications of B/S framework and Web database in chapter 2.The account of chapter 3 covers the process of system analysis. We start the analysis of present situations and demanding of this system, and then elaborate the basic functions, business roles and basic services' functions. Chapter 4 is the overall design of this system. In the respective sense of system design principles, system structures, choosing of the system running platforms, system functional designs and system database designs, the author elaborates the general system design basis. After that, the author finally obtains the final design schemes.In chapter 5 the author intends to explore the detailed designs and implementations of this system. After that, the author studies the difficulties and solutions of this system design.Finally, the author draws a conclusion of this system, and summarizes the experience during the study. Nevertheless, there are certain limitations in the present study for lack of time and space. Therefore, further research can be carried out on to explore more implications.
