Linux System is a kind of general system that with time sharing, and strong network functions as well as open sourcing. It was born earlier 1990s, and becoming one of the mainly OS in the world nowadays based on the internet. Because of its open sourcing and excellent functions, Most of computer OS lover prefer to make various updating for it. Its Real-Time upgraded is one of the most important aspect. Many OS developers(Especially Embedded system developers) are taking part in this project. Recently, the researching and upgrading for Linux Real Time have already been developed and got realistic, and successfully running in a lot of real time environment. But still there is many OS lover working in the job with happiness. This is because Linux allows people to update it with their own favorite. This article is just based on this theory, after reading and researching a lot of papers and literature materials, summarized their theories and results, making great efforts to develop a new way for Linux Real Time upgrading. It is different with the previous methods. This article's theory is based on the version Linux0.11, avoids that some method just improves only one part of kernel. Paying more attention to the whole kernel of it real time upgrading. Nowadays, The speed of hardware development is so fast, we put forward a general theory of that exchanging time with space to solve the Linux real time improvement. Traditional methods refer to two ways: exterior real time extending and interior real time improving. The former is adding a new real time kernel based on Linux kernel. The latter, contrary with the former, is modifying the Linux kernel directly. This article synthesizes the two methods, focus on the real time process, improving the relatively codes of the whole kernel. Because of Linux0.11's shortness, we can through reading the whole kernel and master its structure, and find out the solution of improving its real time function. Finally, putting forward the method of adding real time treating code to finish the improvement of real time ability.
