Video Surveillance Algorithm Research And LabVIEW Realization

With the development of science and technology, computer video surveillance systems have become more and more popular. This paper focuses on the in-depth research of computer video surveillance system algorithms, an effective moving target detection and tracking algorithm was presented, and the experimental platform for video surveillance system was realized by LabVIEW.On the subject of moving target detection algorithm, this paper makes a comparative summary of moving target detection technology under static background and extensively researches frame difference algorithm and background subtraction algorithm. These two methods of adaptive Gaussian background model estimation are discussed and established, and the experimental results and performance evaluation of background estimation and motion region detection are given. Hybrid detection algorithm based on the symmetric difference and multi-Gaussian background subtraction is implemented. In order to better implement subsequent tracking, we adopt shadow suppression algorithm based on the HSV color model, and combine with mathematical morphology processing to extract the object more accurately.On the subject of moving target tracking algorithm, this paper discusses common moving target tracking algorithms, and analyzes the significant feature selection problem of target tracking. Cross correlation matching algorithm and Meanshift algorithm are studied in detail and their tracking method and flow are explained. Multiple techniques fusion tracking algorithm is adopted. This kind of effective and practical algorithm is verified by experiments.Finally, an experimental platform for video surveillance system has been developed using LabVIEW. We has completed the system's construction design according to system requirement and explained in detail the function of each main module, software design method and implementation scheme. In the detection and tracking modules, all kinds of detection algorithm and tracking algorithm which we research are implemented, The video surveillance system algorithm solution and analysis of the result are given in the final part of this paper.
