| With the rapid development of VOIP based on SIP, more and more people start to pay attention to the VOIP conference solutions based on SIP. As far as now, there are two kinds of popular conference solutions: distributed model and concentrated model. But the two solutions both have limitations.As a member of the group to research and develop the project of "VOIP net-phone application system" held by Intel Multi-core Lab of Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications and Secomity, the author's work is developing and debugging the SIP and conference modules. And this paper is a sumarry about the design and implementation of the work.The paper first analyzes basic concept of VOIP, and related principles of signal protocol. Then, after analyzing popular VOIP conference solutions, the paper gives a new solution based on the distributed solutions and concentrated solutions. After that the paper mainly researches the new solution's implementation in detail, including thread and main functions. In the end, the paper gives a conclusion and some directions for system's further research. |
