With the development of mobile communication technique, traditional cellular network technique has a series of limitations in capacity, coverage and costs. There are three main problems: system capacity, the edge of district, indoor coverage. In wireless communication systems, because multi-antenna technique can provides space multiplex and diversity gain, it is the effective technique to eliminate the impact of attenuation. A variety of space-time code developed on the basis of MIMO system, combined the characteristics of space diversity and time diversity, can provide the diversity gain and coding gain. Space-time code can also provide high bandwidth efficiency. Space-time codes include STTC, layered space-time code and space-time block codes.I mainly study on cooperation diversity research during post graduate time, especially on the space-time code technique in cooperation diversity. When add space-time code into cooperation diversity, the system BER, FER and outage probability have been greatly enhanced, and the wireless signal performance is improved. The work contents and results of the writer are as follows:1. Study and research the knowledge of LTE, relay and cooperative diversity.2. According to the characters of space-time code and cooperation diversity, I adopt space-time coded cooperation diversity algorithm combined the space-time code and cooperation diversity.3. Do research in space-time coded cooperation diversity under multi-hop communication system, and set up the corresponding scenario and research the space-time code in flat fading and Rayleigh selective fading channels. The simulation results of it in this paper provide valuable reference for the future research.
