In recent years, shooting training system becomes a research hotspot. The cost of traditional military shooting training system is rather high, and one system can only provide for one person at one time. This dissertation designed a simulated shooting training system applied for police force and special force. The system can be used for multi-people simultaneously training, and has great flexibility and low-cost advantages. DSP DM642 with high performance was used for coordinate recognition of the system. Its 600MHz clock frequency and 4800MIPS calculating rate can measure up to the requirement of real-time capability of the system.1. A simulated shooting training method was implemented which produced targets by projector. Due to its flexibility, various forms of targets or actual combat scenes can be achieved. Fixed target, rotated target, moving target, shooting scenes of actual combat, funny shooting traming are available in the system Also multi-people shooting is realized at the same time by time-sharing manner, which greatly reduced the training cost for each person.2. An embedded shooting processing system based on TI's high-performance DSP DM642 was applied, and its driver and application design was described in detail. With CMOS image sensors, a camera was designed for capture. It can be controlled precisely, and support multi-camera joint simultaneously work.3. A simple but effective method for calculating shell point coordinates was designed, which can ensure real-time ability for the system. The calculating process of shooting results in the system was divided into two parts, one part was dealt with in the embedded platform, and the other one was dealt with in the host computer, so that the calculation pressure of a single platform can be reduced greatly, and the real-time ability and reliability of the system can be guaranteed at the same time. In addition, the boot mode of DM642, Bootloader procedures and FLASH programmer were designed and researched in detail. 4. The communication between the embedded processing board and host computer was researched, and a five-byte data communication format was designed to transfer the computing result from the processing board to the host computer.5. The paper analyses the principle of the touch screen calibration, amends the five-point calibration algorithm. A nine-point calibration algorithm was designed and used in the simulated training system. Therefore, the coordinates mapping from CMOS sensor to PC was realized.
