The Deep Packet Inspection In The Instrusion Detection System

Recent years, with the network popularization, the Security question of network is more and more serious, IDT (Intrusion Detection Technology) becomes important part of the computer and network security. So the study in this field has become the security of the key for a computer system.In this thesis it introduced IDT and IDS at first which we know about IDT.Then it indicate that it is need for date packet inspection.The method of data packet analysis was used in intrusion detection at this thesis. Packet inspection and analysis of the initiative as a defensive security technology,can make up for the shortcomings of traditional security technology. If we want to test packets, we will have to capture packets. Then it described how to capture data packet in WINDOWS. When system is designed,it need the knowledge string match. So it introduced string matching algorithms.At the same time it puts forward new reforming BM algorithms on the basis of BM algorithms,it introduced the design and realization of system.
