With 3G technology continues to mature, the International Telecommunication Union has begun to study the formulation of the fourth generation mobile communications standard, In many key 4G technologies, software radio technology is a bridge to the future. It take software radio receiver for a higher demand because of faster speed.Software radio receiver demodulate correctly to the digital signal transmission,timing synchronization is the important technology. Interpolation filters and timing error estimates is the main contents of symbols simultaneously. Interpolation performance will be impact on the whole system directly.This thesis deals with the synchronization software radio receiver technology, symbol timing synchronization of technology and interpolation filter technology are conducted a detail research, the symbol timing synchronization technology is improved. The polynomial basis function is used as interpolation filter function model. Through the use of single-objective evaluation function, evaluation function is solved in the Algorithm criteria. So that the interpolation factor to achieve optimal. Finally, interpolation filter performance and timing synchronization recover have been carried out by MATLAB to certify the possibilities of the design.
