Image is the most important human beings,one of the commonly used information.Digital image processing technique is to image signals into digital format and use the process computer.Image edge detection technology is one of image pre-processing technology,the edge of the image as one of the basic features,is often applied to a higher level application to the image.In image recognition,image segmentation,image enhancement in areas such as image compression and has a relatively wide range of applications.Edge Detection of a direct impact on the quality of follow-up image processing effects,and even determine their success or failure, therefore,the role of edge detection is crucial.Image edge detection method of a wide range.In this paper,three types of detection methods.Traditional edge detection method is through a number of differential operator, by the image brightness changes in the calculation of its gradient in order to detect the edge of the main Roberts,Sobel,Prewitt,LOG operator,etc.,the advantages of their algorithm is simple and mature,there are ready-made code to calculate the volume of small,fast.The disadvantage is that the interference noise are more sensitive to the blurred image of the edge detection results are not very satisfactory.In the actual image processing problems,the images are generally mixed with noise,edge detection is ambiguous.Fuzzy edge detection algorithm 80 by the mid-20th century,foreign scholars Pal and King,through the introduction of the concept of fuzzy sets,proposed a fuzzy edge detection algorithm(referred to as Pal algorithm).The algorithm of fuzzy image edge detection precision is high,in many respects,has been widely used,but there are too many iterations to calculate too much, not in real time as well as the loss of low gray-scale lack of edge information.Pal algorithm for the shortcomings,this paper presents an improved algorithm to improve the algorithm on the one hand,to overcome the slow Pal algorithm,formula complexity,multi-part iterations inadequate,on the other hand,is also conducive to more accurate detection with noise edge.Through the experiment,results show that the algorithm to improve the algorithm,compared with Pal to better detect the edge of the image,and greatly improving the detection speed.
