Spectroscope is one kind of fundamental set that applied optics principle to analysis the material structure and the ingredient. At present the spectroscope widely used is precise, but it also has insufficiencies such as the volume is big, the price is high, the installation and trial run difficulty, the exploitation conditions is harshly and so on. In order to make up these insufficiencies of modern spectroscope, the big company overseas produces small spectroscope with the computer connection one after another, and develops the related spectroscope software, we call it hypothesized spectroscope. It is composed by the calculator, modular function hardware and the control special-purpose software, the user can design and expand the instrument's test function according to own need.This article first briefed spectroscope's present development situation and the important meaning of research on small hypothesized spectroscope; Then introduction spectroscope's hardware system, including the array CCD, Analog Digital Converter, optical device. After that it introduces the matched software developed with Microsoft Visual C++6.0. It has the artistic practical 3D operation contact surface and the formidable function. The software can real-time display the spectral line after smooth it; It can read and write the spectrum on multichannel; The factor definition of the spectral line; The parameters enactment of the equipment . The software has practicality, and has advantage compared with traditional instrument, such as the openness, the flexibility, the intellectualized degree, the handling ability, the performance price, the maneuverability and the extendibility.This article proposed the central point law carries on the spectral line coefficient demarcation; Utilizes the small hypothesized spectroscope to determine the concentration of potassium permanganate solution accurately. We uses five groups of data to carry on the confirmation. The maximum deviation is -5.3‰, minimum deviation is +0.6‰.The method is simple, easy to operate, and the accuracy to be high.
