The referenced bibliography is a kind of ancient bibliographies, which is often listed at the beginning of a volume, or attached to the end of a volume, or contained in other volumes. It can also be a systermatic book by itself. On one hand, it shows that the book is full of enough evidences; on the other hand, part of the referenced bibliography was preserved in the citation because of the loss of the ancient data. Scholars often recollect the lost information and recorrect with the quotations. Therefore, the edition of the quoted bibliography is paid more and more attention now. The study on the recorrection and the recollection has been paid more attention since the Qing Dynasty and more and more people have carried on studying the bibliographic references and the indexes, which has aslo achieved some progressed to some extent. Shen Jiaben's Four Categories of the Ancient Bibliographies is the representative work and the highest achievement during this period.At present, the research on Shen Jiaben's Referenced Bibliography of the Note on Continued Han Shu Zhi has hardly been carried on. The research on Shen Jiaben's Referenced Bibliography of the Note on Continued Han Shu Zhi is significant to the study on Post-Han and the study of ancient literatures before the Tang Dynasty, especially to the recollection and arrangement of some lost ancient literatures. Besides, the practical ability to study the ancient literature can be improved during this process. The study on Referenced Bibliography of the Note on Continued Han Shu Zhi is presented to readers and will be published with the other three kinds.In the process of my thesis writing, I check each piece of information and origin carefully with the serious academic attitude and the style of seeking truth from facts, using the methods of collation and catalogue. I manage to seek the identification and put aside the differences and mark the origins.This paper punctuates Shen Jiaben's Referenced Bibliography of the Note on Continued Han Shu Zhi innitially and collates. It mainly includes the following reseach.i I punctuates Referenced Bibliography of the Note on Continued Han Shu Zhi with a reference of the Post- Han in the Chinese Public Department to verify its accuracy and label the omission and the errors of the references ,such as the misuse of the word, the addition of the word and the taboo words. I also study the bibliography and its difference with the Post-Han. Apart from the punctuation of the original sentence , the change of the horizontal and vertical layout and the text changes in character, I manage to make little variations. Secondly, under the guidance of my supervisor Liu Fengwen, I have a further understanding of the Bibliography prior to the ancient literature of the Tang Dynasty and also have an innitial apprenhension of the catalogue, edition and collation.
