Information Fusion technology is used for how to utilize multi-sensor information to overcome the inaccuracy while thoroughly describing objects concerned for correct judgments. It has become a hot research in recent years. Multi-sensor information fusion is a developing practical technology around the world with a wide range of application areas. It provides a reliable means in the areas of information processing and decision support and has a very high research value as well as application potential.The theoretical foundation, current research situation and developing direction of the information fusion and neural computing are introduced in this paper. At the same time, the application problem and relevant algorithm in information fusion of neural computing are discussed. The BP networks methods of information fusion are discussed, and its train algorithm in MATLAB, and its application to the robot is introduced in the paper. Neural network has been developed for several ten years and shown enormous potential and application in many fields such as information technology.Then fuses the information of vision and ultrasonic sensor with the method of Neural Network, and verifies that the above mentioned method is really feasible and efficient the MATLAB software platform. The result realizes the robot intelligent navigation through the technology of multi-sensors information fusion in the obstacle environment.
