Application Research On XML Security Technology

XML is widely used in the Internet and distributed heterogeneous environments, because of its powerful description, structure, easy expansion, and cross-platform, has gradually become the preferred technology for data exchange, as a structured data description standard, XML for e-commerce system, online for home affairs system and information management system offers a variety of complete solutions and functions. XML security technology to ensure data integrity, authenticity, non- repudiation, compare to traditional security technologies, has its own characteristics and superiority. With the growing application of XML technology extensively, XML security specifications are also evolved and become of one of the hot in research and application.In this paper, the main contents as follows:(1) For XML security issues, analysis the characteristics of XML .compare with the traditional security technologies. analysis the advantage of XML security technol ogies(2) Combination of XML security technology, according to project security requirements of practical applications, analyzing data based on Web services security shortcomings in the exchange model, a set of relatively complete security solutions for XML security, in accordance with the format required, convert data to XML data; Use mixed encryption program to ensure the confidentiality of XML data; Use XML Signature to ensure data authenticity and non-repudiation, and ultimately achieve the security of data transmission and secure storage.(3) Use the safety program applies in the cultivate plan management system, ensures important data in the process of transmission and storage has a higher security. Finally, the key safety management system also make the design and with the safety of the entire system to do a theoretical analysis.Based on XML security technology applied research, combined with the current Cultivate Plan demand for colleges, Explore and design of the XML security tech- nology development program at the application of cultivate plan management system, ensure data transmission and at the localization of storage security, has strong practical significance.
