| Automated Mechanical Transmission (AMT) is formed by combining Automatic Shift Control System with the traditional fixed axis mechanical transmission. AMT is suitable for the actual condition of China .It has potential market and promising future. The most complex part in AMT is clutch control, which is the key technology of realizing automatic control of AMT of vehicles.Based on the main effect factor and staring control rule while clutch engaging,the evaluating indexes of starting qua1ity and mathematics model of clutch engaging are presented. A new method of clutch is put forward based on fuzzy contro1 techao1ogy. In control the nonlinear course of clutch engagement correctly,a fuzzy controller for clutch is designed. Comparing with proportion control,the slide friction work can be reduced effectively and engaging time can be shorten.The power-train is a complicated nonlinear time-variable system,the input and output parameters are coupled together. Under the influence in complex working condition and uncertainty of environment of vehicle,the traditional control method can not satisfy the control need of the system. After analyzing the starting operation of experienced driver. A fuzzy control strategy which can reflect to driver's intention is put forward. It can get a good control performance by fuzzy control. However, fuzzy controller's ru1es and membership functions rely on the experts'subjective experiences in a great degree so that it is hard to optimize. Fuzzy controller on self-organization is applied to optimize scaling factor and quantization factor in the vehicle's starting process, which has been proved effective. |
