This paper analyzed current means of windshield adhesive dispensing and installation on vehicle body, put forward a new means of windshield adhesive dispensing and installation based on a binocular vision system. The exact position of body was deduced by means of a binocular CCD vision system. Simplified mathematical model was created and key parameters were deduced with the process of windshield installation being analyzed. In the end, robot SoftPLC was employed for the correction of robot motion parameters and paths through analyzing robot motion parameters. Hence, robot vision guide was fulfilled. |
