Research On Image Recognition Technology Applied For Information On Car Body Painting Workshop

This paper derives from a practical application subject which is some factory's improving project about information in car body painting product line. Influenced by many factors, the old RFID system was unsteady in work, and considering the actual situation, this paper brings forward the idea that image recognition technology instead of the old RFID system to get car body information. This paper also designs the information system which used in car body painting workshop.At first, the paper briefly introduces the development and general situation of information applied in car body painting workshop and brings forward the idea that use image recognition technology instead of the old RFID system to get car body information and design the information code pressed in car body. Existing two-dimension image recognition technologies all use the color difference between the image and surrounding to recognize image, this is not very effective to recognize pressed character. So this paper then brings the idea that is by using Moire technique to get character image and design the instrument that collects an image. We can get three-dimensional information of the image and recognize the image more effectively according the three-dimensional information. After getting image, we need to deal the image to make the image's quality is better, outstand the important information and be easy to recognize. But before recognize the character, we have to divide the image into some little section, then we compare the divided section to the database and recognize the character by using BP neuronal network technology. Getting the recognition result and inputting the result to the system and connecting the result to ERP, we can get the whole information about the car body and manufacture information directly and easily. So the car body painting workshop needs its own system. In the following, the paper designs and construct the car body painting workshop manufacture information system. At the last part, the paper summarizes the main work and achievements of the subject and puts forward prospect about this subject.This paper derives from a practical application subject, so, to some degree, there is a certain of theory meaning and reference value in this paper, especially for those staff who are engaged in managing workshop and developing application system.
