Bandgap reference, as the best choice of high accuracy reference technique, has been widely applied to ADC, DC-DC chips etc, and has become a basic block in most of SOC chips.As a research spot in the recent years and trendency in future,low voltage high PSRR bandgap reference has high research value.This paper is based on three parameters of Bandgap referenec-accuracy, source voltage and PSRR.After introducing some basic concept of Bandgap reference, the paper puts emphisis on the error sourse and PSRR of typical BiCMOS Bandgap reference and standard CMOS Bandgap reference, theory analyze and simulation are both present to prove conculsion. Based on the conclusion above, two types of Bandgap reference are proposed.Simulation shows that the first proposed BiCMOS Bandgap reference prensents a very high accuracy of 10 ppm/oC, with dc PSRR as high as 90 dB, meanwhile, reasonable device parameters help the ciruit with a low power dissipation and a fast start-up. The second proposed CMOS Bandgap reference use current as sourse instead of voltage, and PSRR as high as 79 dB, with help of a novel output circuit, it can work at 1.2 V voltage with an output of 0.76 V.
