In this work, the author concerned with Radio over Fiber (RoF) based network architecture that makes efficient use of its centralized control capability to address mobility management and bandwidth allocation. The study Radio over Fiber (RoF) Technology based network architecture for Road Vehicle Communication (RVC) system is proposed. The Road Vehicle Communication (RVC) system is an infrastructure network to be deployed along the roads for future intelligent transportation systems. Now days, in order to provide high bandwidth data traffic a Radio over Fiber based network has been used. In this network a control station is connected to functionally simple base stations via optical fibers. Hence the system has small cell and high mobility.RoF used in RVC faces some challenges, such as the handover issue and the resource management issue, In this work, the author make a deep study about these two issues, and some schemes to realize fast handover and efficient resource allocation are discussed.
