Research And Design Of Reporting Service Model Based On SOA

Nowadays, reporting software focuses on specific application while theoretical research is inadequate. The lack of reusability and flexibility result in inability to fulfill the OnDemand requirement of enterprise. So it is a rewarding theme extracting generic functions of software and bringing forward a reporting service model based on SOA.In this article, research and design of reporting software and system is performed around the SOA so as to extract the core functions, work out the process and standard of reporting service, put forward a reporting service model based on SOA including its main modules and interfaces. A practical application solution is also stated and feasible solution is provided on concerning that some potential issue may occur during its operation.The SOMA methodology used in this article helps to directly extract the reporting functions and make them services. Then, a reporting service model is built up based on these services. A service application and discusses the practical issue of application usage and test in order to demonstrate the effectiveness of model and rationality of services.The benefit of this thesis lies in that it innovatively brings forward a reporting service model based on SOA and it provides a standard reference model for later application of enterprise reporting. It also makes significant improvement on SOMA methodology in its service implementation part. A series of web service of reporting function as well as a service application have been implemented, which verify the rationality and feasibility of the model.
