The mobile Ad hoc networks are by a number with a wireless transceiver node consisting of a non-center,multi-hop and self-organization of the peer-to-peer communication network.In the mobile Ad Hoc networks,there may be multiple wireless devices simultaneously access channel,which cause waste of resources,a significant drop in throughput.In order to solve these problems,the media access control(MAC) protocols to more efficient,orderly and equitable use of shared media are necessary.In this paper,the media access control protocol of the traditional narrow-band Ad hoc networks of channel utilization fairness,throughput performance are analyzed firstly.The second focused on the protocol of IEEE802.11 DCF backoff algorithm,pointing out that the traditional protocol of IEEE802.11 DCF binary exponential backoff algorithm BEB existence of great inequalities,an analysis of the use of multiplicative increase,linear to reduce the backoff algorithm(MILD) and index increase,the index decreases the backoff algorithm(EIED) to change the algorithm BEB fairness.In this pape,on GloMoSim simulation platform design and implementation of the MILD and EIED algorithm and through simulation comparative analysis of three backoff algorithm throughput and fairness.Under the parameters conditions set in the paper,the throughput of three backoffalgorithm is considerable,and the fairness MILD best, followed by EIED,BEB worst.However,with the increase in Channel flow load,under heavy load the fairness of the three algorithms become considerable.MILD in mobile Ad hoc networks is the preferred backoff algorithm in middle-load or light load condition.Finally,the study of the performance of MAC protocol about the code division multiple access Ad hoc networks(CDMA Ad hoc networks).Through the establishment of the network status of the Markov model,the CDMA-based Ad hoc network throughput performance analysis methods are proposed in the multiple access interference and background noise co-exist,This new analysis methods can more realistically reflect the network transmission performance and more general scope of application,and numerical simulation results provide a valuable theoretical basis for CDMA Ad hoc network design and optimization.
