To realize the goal of the natural human-computer based on hand gesture can improve the the computer's operation, so that the computer be able to complete a more complex task. The ARM-based embedded system with low power consumption, small size, high integration and application specific combination, have a longer life cycle, according to the specific needs of hardware and software for a reasonable crop. The hand gesture tracking device combined with embedded technology can detect the data of position and Angle of the hand gesture real-time,and send the data to the computer virtual system for human-computer interaction in time,improved the reliability and space tracking accuracy of the tracking device .The plan of the hand gesture signal input system and the hardware and software programs is certained, through analyzing the process of the embedded development and the compos of the control system. The hardware core S3C2440 is chosed, through reasearching, analying, comparing a large number of popular embedded processor. The S3C2440-related modules of the system are designed, including memory modules, communication interface module, and JATG interface circuit. The external circuit of the system is designed, such as the system clock circuits, power supply circuits, complex system reset circuit.The software development platform is designed, through adopting the Linux system that is more suitable for the development of the ARMsystem. The transplant of the Linux system to the development board is realized, to sart and compiles the Bootloader program and device driver development program is designed. The subroutine of the serial communication and the hand gesture recognition is compiled,through compiling the program modular according to the plan of the hand gesture signal input system.The dynamic hand gesture recognition algorithm based on neural network and dynamic time warping and template matching is adopted,by analyzing the commonly used hand gesture recognition algorithm.The testing and integration of the system is completed, through debugging the hardware and software modular according to the test method.
