Along with the exhaustion of oil resources and the situation that environment getting worse, hybrid electric vehicles have become the focus of technological research and development of energy-saving green automobiles.Comparing to traditional automobiles,the more complicated control system and functions of hybrid electric vehicles makes it more difficult to develop the whole vehicle as well as its debugging and testing.Therefore,during process of developing hybrid electric vehicles,it is natural to have higher level of requirements for operating data analyses and failure diagnoses.Consequently,the research and formulation of collecting system for hybrid electric vehicles' operating data must be enforced in no time.The current thesis has studied the development and characteristics of VTDR(Vehicle Traveling Data Recorder) both abroad and at home,along with analyses of the development and application of CAN(Controller Area Network) bus on automobiles.Meanwhile,according to the requirements for operating data collecting system during hybrid electric vehicles whole automobile's development, combining with the communicational characteristics of USB(Universal Serial Bus),we have researched and designed DR(Data Recorder) and DPA(Data Playback Apparatus).This system firstly uses DR to collect data with specific ID in CAN bus of automobiles in different working modes,and it can be used to time-tag data frames at the same time.And secondly,by using DPA to playback those data collecting by DR,the system is able to reappear situations of CAN bus during the recording period.In respect of hardware circuit design,for the different requirements of DR and DPA,we designed observe and control center based on TMS320F2812 DSP,with peripheral modules as following:USB flash disk reader and writer module,CAN transceiver,memory module,calendar clock module(only for DR) and hardware circuits of other auxiliary modules.And in respect of software design,as for the functions of DR and DPA,we designed data collecting software and data playback software based on DSP chip instruction system and C language.After testing,we found that DR designed by the current thesis is able to record the target data of CAN bus without losing data,while DPA can be used to playback those original data recorded by DR and it can truly reappear situations of CAN bus during the recording period.By specific analyses of recording data,the data collecting by operating data collecting system researched and designed in the current thesis are able to reflect working situations of every control unit during automobiles' driving process,and this can provide necessary data support for further research.
