With the rapid growth of China's national economy and internal and external trade volume increasing,shipping becomes more and more prosperous,radar which protects the safety of maritime transport becomes more and more important.Radar data processing is a key technology for navigation radar detecting target,and radar signals denoise and detection is the important component of the radar data processing,which improves the radar detection capability and has a crucial role for safe and efficient shipping.In recent years,with the continuous development of the wavelet analysis,wavelet multi-resolution analysis has been widely used in the areas of image processing,data compression,non-linear analysis.In this paper,the main research is the radar signal and image denoise,image enhancement and edge detection methods based on wavelet transform.Firstly,by analyzing the characteristics of marine radar signal and wavelet decomposition of noise,wavelet denoise processing,wavelet scale are selected.After analyzing and comparing of the experimental results,the 4-scale wavelet haar should be used in radar echo and image denoise.Secondly,multi-scale adaptive threshold edge detection algorithm is used in the edge detection of radar image.In order to have a better effect,image enhancement is also adopted.By considering the problem of division,the method of combining moving window detection with multi-scale adaptive threshold is obtained,and then achieve the desired results.Finally,to make the detection algorithm based on wavelet transform be used in the actual radar data processing,the DSP hardware system,data transmission and the storage is researched.And then the program flow chart is given and algorithm is simulated,which has a basis for achieving to use the algorithm in the DSP system.The main research results can not only be directly applied to radar image processing,but also have a certain theoretical and practical significance for the future research of radar data processing.
