With the development of economy, the demand of tower is growing rapidly. During the production process of tower standard components, the deviations of the shape and position dimensions cause the waste production which leads to the economic loss. Therefore, it is necessary to design an automatic monitoring device to detect the tower standard components.In this paper, based on the technique requirement of the tower standard components detection, the photoelectric detection device has been designed. This device is non-contact photoelectric device which can perform the on-line detection of the shape and position dimensions of tower standard components. By researching and analyzing the environmental temperature and transmission accuracy, the gear rack transmission system of this device, which guarantees the measurement accuracy of transmission system of super-long size device, has been designed. The double CCD structure applied in the photoelectric detection system increases the detection efficiency. The telecentric optical path design solves the problem caused by the defocus of optical system during the image acquisition process. In the digital image process system, by applying image motion compensation technique and etc, the problem of the image motion errors produced by one dimension fast moving object has been solved. This image process system increases the measurement accuracy and the detection efficiency.This photoelectric detection device, which can be used in tower company, instead of manual detection, fills the domestic and overseas blank of automatic detection of the shape and position dimensions of tower standard components, and realizes the automatic detection.
