The increasing lack of radio spectrum resource leads to the wide research on spectrum-sharing technology, in which Ultra wideband (UWB) and cognitive radio (CR) are most typical examples. These technologies developed rapidly due to attractive application foreground. Moreover, because of the differences in spectrum reuse modes and technical realization levels, Cognitive Ultra wideband technology (CUWB), combined of the two technologies mentioned, holds further concerns.By means of theoretical analysis and algorithm simulation of Cognitive Ultra Wideband wireless communication system, this work focuses on design of a systematic scheme and research on the key techniques including spectrum sensing and sharing and user resource assignment.This thesis introduces the background and evolution process of CUWB, and presents a cooperative spectrum sensing and detection scheme of CUWB system, based on a further study of spectrum sensing and detection technology. Then a sub-channel and power allocation algorithm is presented by affective application of the cooperative scheme, considering the issue of multi-user MIMO-OFDM CUWB system downlink. The proposed algorithm intergrates interference control of licensed system user into the CUWB system user resource assignment, and realizes efficiently spectrum sharing based on the analysis of simulation result.
