In the current highly dynamic, heterogeneous and distributed modern information systems, it's necessary to across a single RBAC management domain restrictions and interoperate securely in various domains. Therefore, secure interoperability between multi-domains becomes a hot reseach issue. The research of role mapping of inter-domain is divided into three parts in this paper: theoretical basis and implementation, ontology-based evalustion framework and application of power information system integration. In the theoretical basis and implementation period, by studying on ontologies and rules in RBAC single domain, ontology and related rules are given for role mapping of inter-domain. It is put that roles and permissions of two sides can be analyzed by the XML file. And a specific algorithm is given to aim at role-spliting. In evaluation framework, it puts forward the 10 indications to evaluate the results of role mapping for two domains. At last, we use the role mapping of the inter-domain in the power information system simply to increase the efficiency of the system integration.
