| The mechanical property,electrical property,acoustic property and environment logical property of wood are closely related to its structure and chemical composition.In order to obtain a well knowledge of wood properties,we must start with the research of wood structure and components.Due to the lack of a quick,accurate and systematic method which could describe the structure of wood,most researches have been staying in the macroscopical level.In this paper,a convenient method based on digital image processing,which can obtain parameters of softwood quickly was introduced and the virtual softwood structure model was established after relative parameters extracting.In the virtual structure model,the real solid softwood was abstracted and the structure was described by a uniform method,which provided a basic platform for macroscopical properties modeling researches in the future.The main conclusion and originality can be described as the following:(1) A digital softwood microstructure image processing system based on image superposition and morphological theory was constructed,which consists of optical microscope,digital image acquisition parts and digital image analysis system developed personally.Softwood structure parameters could be obtained quickly and accurately by using this system.(2) A new method based on image superposition to remove intercellular substance in cross section was presented.The removal of the primary redundant information of soft wood could build a solid base for father parameters measuring.(3) A new wood cell thickness measuring method based on cell center coordinates and configuration simulation was presented.This method can reduce some mistakes and avoid some shortcomings after using math calculus method and draw-line measurement method.(4) The digital set relationship description of the softwood cross-section was presented.The softwood cross-section image was reconstructed by using this set relationship,so the three-dimensional softwood model can be mapped on the two-dimensional plane.(5) The softwood structure virtual modeling method based on Object Oriented Programming theory and digital softwood microstructure image processing system was established.(6) Further research could be carried out to expand the usage of this system,to provide a powerful technique for wood microstructure parameters automatic measurement,wood species automatic identification and the building models researches of more macroscopic properties based on wood structure. |
