With rapid development of the computer and communication technology,the embedded equipments have already widely applied in many fields of working and living. New embedded systems are becoming focus and hot spot of the research and development.The species of 16/32 bits MCU grows quickly,also the volume of usage and requirement,because of their more power,faster processing speed,and lower energy consumption.But the size of related software becomes larger and larger,the management and development of related software becomes more and more complicated.We need some tools just like Intergrated Development Environment to do these works.Therefore,a new topic emerges from embedded field;it aims how to build an Intergrated Development Environment which is used for the development of software based on 16/32 bits MCU.This paper describes the development of a universal embeded intergrated development environment based on 16/32 bits MCU.First,introduces the research status of embeded intergrated development environment.Second,gives an analysis about feature of software development based on 16/32 bits MCU,does a research about technology for software development based on 16/32 bits MCU just like cross compilation.Third,designs and implements the embeded intergrated development environment based on 16/32 bits MCU.It takes Object-Oriented guidance for design,and takes modular mode for implementation,pays attention to the ease of use and efficiency.At last,it designs and implements the plug-oriented software architecture,so that implements the universality and expansibility of the embeded intergrated development environment.In order to describe simply,the IDE is named SCSIDE.
