Software radio(SWR,Software Radio) is proposed in recent years to realize radio communication.It's another major breakthrough following the transition from analog communications to digital communications,fixed communications to mobile communications. As a third-generation radio communications technology,it has a broad application in the military and commercial communications.The core of the SWR is to regard the hardware as the basic platform for wireless communication and wireless communication is achieved as much as possible through the software.In this way,wireless communication has good universality and flexibility,allowing the system to be interconnected and upgraded conveniently.Based on the idea of SWR,this paper designed and implemented a radio monitoring system with multi-stational space method - hummer radio monitoring system using communication board WiNRADiO G315 receiver series produced by Australia WiNRADiO Communications Company.This system uses Access database to manage multiple users and multiple data servers.Using the existing radio receiver,signal data processing,transmission and measurement techniques to re-program the board interface available,we realized real-time voice data network distribution and effective radio source monitoring and locationAt present,the monitoring equipment and software of the single-user systems are already very mature.In this kind of systems,a receiving device usually corresponds to a client and multiple clients can't share the same radio receiving equipment to collect information. Therefore,if you want to monitor multi-users,you have to use multiple receiving devices, causing the cost of monitoring system improved greatly.This system adds a proxy server between the client and the server,so that multiple users can connect to one receiving device to share information at the same time.Such method is both cost saving and in favor of the location and positioning of target signal source.This system includes three modules,data server,proxy server and client.Data server is in charge of radio signal collection and transmission.Proxy server is responsible for the management of the user information and the information in data server as well as computing of ranging and direction finding.The client serves as user remote data manipulation server and monitors radio signals in real-time.In addition,the electronic maps are added to the client module,making the object source positioning more intuitive.It is of valuable in the applications of criminals capture,search of victims of vehicles,espionage surveillance and military operations and so on.The system has been implemented in the Windows XP platform and we have achieved the desired results in the practical tests.
