The measurement of temperature and gap in the narrow and curved surface has practical application of the value in many areas,particularly in these areas of machinery manufacturing,electrical equipment,weapons and equipment,the monitoring of the temperature and the gap between some parts is important for ensuring product quality and the importance of security and reliability.This gap is very small,the spacing of magnitude is in mm of the general order.In particular,to monitoring intervals of less than 1 mm,and can not carry out the transformation of the structure,the traditional sensors is powerless to do anything more.After one or two decades of efforts,some applications spent a great deal of force also can not solve this problem.Fiber Bragg Grating Sensors had many advantages,such as:the light weight,high sensitivity,anti-electromagnetic interference,environmental adaptability,and so on,thus it obtained the widespread application.The production of fiber gratings is in optical fiber,the fiber is only 260 microns in diameter,and can be placed between the gap of less than 1 mm,FBG-based sensor technology for measuring temperature within a narrow space and dual-parameter measurement space is a feasible solution.This paper used the temperature and strain characteristic of the optical fiber Bragg grating,designed and manufactured a set of fiber Bragg grating sensor for measuring temperature & gap in tiny surface.The main research works and the achievements contain the following parts:sensor development,demodulation system development and examination demarcation installment design.1st,The development of sensorIn order to meet the engineering requirements,we developed based on the dual-grating structure of micro-sensor probe through the massive experiments.We had solved the temperature and strain cross-sensitivity problem,and also had increased the sensitivity of sensors by adopting double optical fiber Bragg grating structure.2nd,The development of measurement softwareThrough experiments and theoretical analysis,we researched on the calculation of temperature and space,and solved the problem of the temperature and strain cross-sensitivity in theory.Based on this algorithm,we prepared the measurement software. 3rd,The development of demarcating and examination equipment.As a result of the development of special-purpose sensors,there is no off-the-self testing tools,We had carefully designed the examination and demarcation equipment through the massive experiment research.Through this device,we conducted a related experiment,fully tested the performance measurement system,and achieved satisfactory results.
