With the development of optical fiber communication,it is necessary to study a new generation chaotic secure communication system which satisfies requirements of high speed, high security and long distance transmission. In recent years, chaos and chaos synchronization of semiconductor lasers(SLs) has attracted much attention for its potential applications in secure communications, various chaotic synchronization schemes have been proposed. In remote chaotic communication system, the chaotic optical signal is degraded during transmission, the factor results in error rate increase and transmission quality reduction, limits the long-range communication distance. Therefore,it has important significance for improving transmission distance and security performance by further increasing optical power and synchronization quality. In this paper, based on the chaos synchronism model of optoelectronic feedback semiconductor lasers unidirectionally coupled in an open-loop configuration, the synchronization characteristics and the robustness of generalized synchronization with intrinsic parameters mismatch have been investigated. The results show that the transmitter and receiver lasers have same outputs in complete synchronization system; for generalized synchronization, the chaotic dynamics of the receiver laser is functionally related to that of the driving signal, meanwhile the generalized synchronization has good tolerance to parameters mismatch.Based on above analysis,a chaotic parallel synchronization model of optoelectronic feedback semiconductor lasers is proposed. The complete synchronization and generalized synchronization are studied, while the effects of intrinsic parameters mismatch on the synchronization performances between the transmitter laser and receiver lasers or between the parallel receiver lasers are emphatically discussed. The results show that zero-time-lag complete synchronization among the transmitter laser and parallel receiver lasers can be realized with parameters match. For generalized synchronization,if one of the intrinsic parameters in receiver laser is changed, the cross correlation of the parallel receiver lasers is larger than that of the transmitter, and receiver lasers over a wide parameter mismatch region. If the outputs of many parallel receiver lasers, which are strongly synchronized, are collected, and there is great output power,it has potential application prospect in long distance chaotic secure communication system and high performance chaotic radar field.
