Ultra-wideband(UWB) communication is a newly emerging short-distance wireless communication technique,Compared with the conventional communications that uses Sinusoidal carriers to transmit information,it has many advantages,such as high system capacity,low probability of interception and detection,wide bandwidth,high robustness to multi-path interference and fine time resolution.Ultra-wideband wireless communication simulation platform can be used in UWB development and application.This thesis endeavors to research in depth on signal generation,transmission,receiving, demodulation of UWB-IR system based on "non-real time UWB communication simulation platform" project,a design method of ultra-wideband wireless communication simulation platform is presented.The Avtech Pulse generator is controlled by platform controller to generate TH-PPM/DS-BPSK UWB signal,and the signal is arrived Agilent54855 oscillograph through a pair of TEM horn antenna,then dose soft demodulation.The hardware of platform controller is consist of S3C2410(ARM920T core) microprocessor,the SDRAM and NAND Flash,LCD with touch panel,due to principle of pulse generate ECL burst mode, a interface of pulse generator is presented and designed.In terms of hardware,the software development environment was built,then transplant BootLoader based analyze of its running process,the kernel and file systems were configured,compiled,and transplanted as well. Because the project would develop a friendly GUI,root file system with qtopia was studied and migrated.After building embedded Linux system platform,the interface drivers and UWB communication program were designed and implement,the GUI was realized based on Qt technology.Aiming at resolve the problem of weak UWB signal demodulation, cyclostationary theory has been applied in the detection and parameter estimation of the weak BPSK signals,which is accomplished by exploitation of spectral correlation density envelope. To improve system interference immunity,the adaptive filter which based on LMS adaptive algorithm is used in order to cancel noise.As the communication and interference testing show,the platform can work normally within 1.7m under the multi-path environment,signal atternuation is less than 34dB.The Ultra-wideband wireless communication simulation platform using embedded technology to improve reliability,cyclic correlation and adaptive filter technology have interference immunity.This subject provides a well platform for research and application of UWB technology in multi-path environment.
