Abroad level measurement technology started early and has solid investment,so that it developed very quickly. In Other developed countries and companies invented the liquid level sensing products has been widely used in industry, food production, and a large number industry enter the field of liquid level measurement in China. Internally developed measurement systems in the liquid level measurement technology, measurement methods are far behind other developed countries. We need to develop high value of the liquid level measuring instruments to meet the needs of modern production. Optical fiber liquid level sensor has some advantages of optical fiber as sensitive component. Compares to the traditional measurement system, the optical fiber liquid level sensor may apply in the flammable explosive situation. We can use it to survey the scene in all-optical without electricity situation. The safety performance is good, at the same time there are a variety of modulation method. It is a new type of liquid level sensors. Therefore, the new type liquid level sensor has a broad space for development and enormous application value. This article is mainly as follows:1. This paper has researched the polymer optical fiber optical power loss before and after the critical bend radius.Experimental design of optical fiber bend radius, respectively, on both sides of the critical values of the radius of 10mm, and R2 2> R1, liquid level sensors R2 get greater measurement sensitivity. So that fiber-optic liquid level sensor's measurement can be improved throught reduced the bend radius of the fiber.Conclusion 3: The sensor probe R1 was fixed and deal with the light route compensation for the design method to optimized the optical sensor. As shown in Figure 6, fiber optic liquid level sensors R1 to be a very good curve.
