Based on the background of national science and technology plan, Also considered the specialty of basic network environment in E-community services is accordance with multiple subnet of VPN component features, a VPN monitoring system for E-community services is designed and implemented in this thesis.The main works of the thesis is listed as follow:1. The basic structure of MVC model based on B/S structure of the monitoring system was brought forward,so that the system can monitor any network devices which support SNMP protocol by bringing forward template mechanism.2. The token mechanism was brought forward for load-balancing of VPN devices.3. The soft-hard double authentication mechanism was brought forward in order to sovled exactly authenticate to the service site which has been accredited.4. Fixed IP distribution to VPN users was come true by bringing forward the mechanism of username relating IP of based Radius,in order to store MIB data which was collected from electronic community service sites device based SNMP proctol continuously.The test results from VPN simulation environment of the E-community services show that the system can exactly monitor VPN and any devices in VPN in real-time, which also enhances electronic community VPN network security and reliability as well as for the realization of the entire electronic community for VPN network management.
