P2P(Peer-to-Peer)has special charms in the application areas like file sharing, content distribution, distributed storage, distributed computing, etc. But its nature of openness, equality, autonomy, and free of supervision also leads to many new security problems. These security problems with strong social attributes in Peer-to-Peer networks have aroused extensive concern, fairness and trust is the core of the matter. Free-riding and spreading of virus are the important performance of fairness problem in peer-to-peer networks. Free-riding behavior seriously do harm on the Network, endanger the survival and development of the networks. An effective incentive mechanism can restrain free-rider phenomenon. Through the way of generating and maintaining the measurable reputation is an important means to solve the trust problem between the nodes currently. In P2P networks entire users can play either provider or consumer role all the time. They can share numerous resources directly with each other, regardless of true identity of interacting participants. But to join such networks securely, the reputation system becomes a critical part to evaluate the trust of participants. As a model of confidence-building mechanism in an important part of the stress Reputation model specially emphasize the mutual trust between members of networks and the authenticity of data information. In order to ensure users use the networks safely, it is necessary to control misdeeds effectively and encourage users to behave well to facilitate the smooth realization of the on-line trading. Among current P2P networks, the reputation data used in the reputation system is valid to only the same community where its referrers and raters belong. This is regarded as inflexibility, causing problems in many aspects such as it's difficult to prevent attach to the reputation data. In fact, the fundamental problem of those models is that the topology structure of them has something not reasonable completely. The balance point hasn't been found between the centralized structure and distributed Structure. P2P networks derived from the centralized structure. With the fast developing of networks, the topology structure of P2P networks has gone to the other extreme, the pure distributed structure. But the pure distributed structure has its critical disadvantage, in which it needs a long time to search the resource. In this paper, based on a lot of research of previous models we propose a model of P2P reputation system whose main concept is to create a separate P2P community called reputation community, which keeps the reputation data of various object types of other communities. By this concept, we show how it helps the reputation system gets more flexible, scalable, and secure. Hope to improve the reputation model of P2P networks to ensure the reputation data can reflect the real situation and make the networks equal and fair. The paper described the process as follows:First, it is briefly introduced the image of the reputation model system of background and significance of the application; then analyze the two outstanding problems in the P2P environment, then sum up the existing solutions to the problems. And then summed up a variety of existing reputation systems model or called trust model and pointed out their problems. Finally, a new reputation model of applications is introduced in details in this paper. In this part, the first to introduce is the JXTA application platform, which is the basis for the realization of the model; then the appropriate model of network architecture, protocol and security protection is given; at last simulation test is implemented.
