RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) is a new technology of non-contacting automatically identifying objects rising from 1990s.It includes some new technologies, such as wireless communication, microelectronics, internet, etc. It has the virtues of non-contacting, read-write flexibility, speediness and high security. So it is widely used in many kinds of application fields. Currently, RFID is the most popular technology in the field of auto identification. It also attracts the attention of many research centers because of its fast development. But the domestic RFID technology is kind of lagging behind, thus research on the design of RF1D tag chip and digital-analog mixed integrated circuits is very important and has a bright market perspective.International standards are guarantee for exploitation and application of RFID system. There are many institutions take part in setting RFID standards at present, these standards are not compatible. Setting a uniform standard is a key factor for RFID development, so research on standard is a hotspot in RFID technology research. ISO/IEC18000-6, which is the standards of UHF RFID, has the global influence and is chosen to study in this thesis.The thesis has done researches in some key technologies of UHF RFID. It makes a study and analysis on RFID principles, architectures, and compares some kinds of RFID protocols, then introduces some digital system design theory technology. Based on these work and requirement for RFID system, the thesis presents the design of ISO/IEC 18000-6 Type B protocol tag system, including four modules: clock synchronization module, command processing module, read-write module and data feedback module. Then, simulation results and testing results based on software and hardware are given out. The principles and algorithms of logic synthesis are analyzed detailedly in steps in order to give the synthesis report of timing and area. At last, the thesis presents the design of clock synchronization modules and anti-collision arithmetic in tag system based on Type C protocol. The designed tag can realize the anti-collision processing among no less than 15 tags.
