Research On The Usage Control Of Digital Resources

With the rapid development of the Internet and information technology, more and more digital television, e-books, digital music and other digital content are used. It is some characteristics that digital resources are easy to be copied and distributed completely and so on, and it is popular to use unauthorized and illegal digital resources, which have an bad effect on digital industry and our economy, society and culture. The digital resources protection and the usage control of digital resources have become a research hotspot in the field of network security.The mainstream technology of the usage control of digital resources is digital rights management, this article outlines some technologies about DRM, points out existing problems in the usage privilege management of digital resources and authorization translation by analyzing a typical framework of DRM, and then proposes a new scheme for the usage control of digital resources and designs the overall model. The core of the usage privilege management of digital resources is certificate management, and because the certificate is easy to be copied and reused, this paper proposes a new scheme. This scheme simplifies the authorization process, binds the certificate with user equipment, records and updates the license and its latest state, which enhance the controllability of usage privilege,and achieve the objective of prohibiting the reuse of certificate.The authorization translation of digital resources is often easy to be overlooked in the usage control of digital resources, or the authorization translation replies on the middle management role of the server-side, which made authorization translation hard and harmed the legitimate interest of users seriously. This paper proposes a type of scheme for authorization translation, which doesn't ask the third party to participate, only needs to negotiate the authority for translation between the two users,and the certificate management mechanisms is still able to play a part in the authority which had been translated.
