At present, with the constant growth of the underground construction in our country, we should deal with the surveying of tunnel contour in the control of railway, pavement, water conservancy, water and electricity, mine. The surveying of tunnel contour makes sure of the security of tunnel construction, and is important factor of enhancing the efficiency of construction. The quality of the surveying is also important to the quality of the construction and the cost. Also, the optimizing the tunnel design and the construction are according as the result of surveying of the tunnel contour. So the surveying of tunnel contour is very impotent and meaning to the construction of tunnel. Whereas the distinct characters the surveying of tunnel contour to the normal surveying, studying on one fast and efficient art of surveying of tunnel contour is very meaning of the construction of tunnel.Considering of the importance and particularity of the surveying of tunnel contour, the paper firstly advance of using the way of digital close-range photogrammetry in the surveying of tunnel contour. Besides, the digital close-range photogrammetry systems totally are based on the metric camera. The metric camera has been widely used for its professional, high-cost, and complicated. The thesis studies and makes the digital close-range photogrammetry based on the non-metric camera.The paper detailedly introduces the principle and the technique of programming the digital close-range photogrammetry system of tunnel contour. The main content of the thesis includes seven parts which has the way of image process of digital tunnel photos,the principle of image matching and Least-squares image matching,realizing the semiautomatic image matching by manually select the coordinate of control-point,the model of surveying adjusting-Direct Linear Transformation,the construction of Database Management system,the studying on way of tunnel curve fit etc.According to the above principles and ways, the thesis completed programming the digital close-range photogrammetry system based on the non-metric camera. The system runs reliably but the processing result having low precision, so we need perfecting the system and enhancing the data precision.
