LTE(Long Term Evolution)is a Broadband Wireless Access Technology developed by the Third Generation Partnership Project (3GPP).In order to achieve the high data rates, packet scheduling algorithm is a necessary part of the LTE system. It can allocate the wireless resources rationally for packet radio services. Not only the fairness between users can be ensured, but also the utilization of radio channel and The QoS of packet radio services can be improved by packet scheduling algorithm .After introducing the background knowledge and development of the next generation wireless network-LTE, the network structure and key technologies of LTE are studied in this paper, and many advantages and characteristics of LTE are put forward. Then, The classification, QoS guideline and the target of the packet scheduling algorithm are introduced. With five classical packet scheduling algorithms available lucubrated, their performances and shortages are analyzed. Based on the analysis, two improved algorithms are proposed. Finally, the two new algorithms are analyzed and simulated. Compared with classical packet scheduling algorithms in throughput, packet lost rate and fairness, The two new algorithms are proved feasible and advanced. |
