Firstly, the characteristic of IPSec protocols is analyzed, which includes the two modes of IPSec protocol, AH, ESP, encryption management, safe connection and security strategy. Secondly, according to the characteristic of VPN, the followings are done: according to the practical need of the winter games, the organizing rules of the network system are designed; the network platform and technology demands about the information management system are analyzed, which are mainly the characteristic of query network and technology demands. Based on the demands, the VPN query network is designed.According to the characteristic of VPN, the application of the query network is researched. And the suitable network is chosen. The part of network, processing part and other related parts are designed. In the lab, the server and client of VPN is configured. Then the VPN connection is tested.
