With the rapid development of the marine resources exploitation, the underwater acoustic (UWA) communication is becoming more and more important not only in military affairs but also in civil fields. Consequently, the UWA communication has been the international focus of researchers at present.During the UWA communication course, data or control message is transfered through the UWA channel .And the intersymbol interference (ISI) caused by the multipath channel is the primary barrier to realize UWA communication. Therefore, in order to improve the reliability of information transfer, efficient techniques must be adopted to reduce the ISI.In the dissertation, real-time processing program based on TMS320DM6446 is developed. The program is based on the single-element Virtual Time Reversal Mirror (VTRM) and Pattern Time Delay Shift (PDS)Coding system(VTRM-PDS) and it is used to process the received signal in the communication node. The application program of the VTRM-PDS communication system is able to focus the multipath signal effectively, mitigate the ISI and further transfer the information reliably . To meet the requirement of high performance and low power consumption, the system is implemented on the chip of TMS320DM6446 (DaVinci mode) .And the signal processing program is developed in C64x+ core of TMS320DM6446. The communication performance and the processing capability of the receiver are improved through the improvement of theory and algorithm. The dissertation proposes a series of means adapted to PDS system, such as program flow, data flow, data storage structure, detection mode, calibration mode and so on.The experimental research in the dissertation includes computer simulation, channel pool trial, lake trial data processing and so on, to verify the theoretical basis and practice capability of the UWA communication system. The results prove the feasibility, validity and robustness of the real-time signal processing program, and the signal processing program achieves the prospective target.
