Nowadays computers and the Internet have become more popular around the world, and the network risks have increased as more network resources are shared.Despite the intrusion detection system, firewall and other security equipments are widely used, but the very complicated log can not clearly outlines the trend of information network. And it is also almost impossible for network administrator to make the right decisions based on the degree of threaten.Through learning from the related research at home and abroad, a new network security macro situation evaluation model is proposed based on data fusion technology. From a macro perspective, the indicators which reflect the security of network are extracted from intrusion detection system and vulnerability scanner and other equipments. Then they are fused and evaluated, and ultimately show the evolution trend of the network situation in quantified form.This paper sums up the usual methods of multi-source data fusion, and evaluate the security situation by using Adaptive Network-based Fuzzy Inference System (short for ANFIS), which adds the study function of neural networks to the fuzzy inference systems, unite the advantages of them, utilize the expert systems experiences in the process of situation evaluation better, and make sure the evaluation result be more accurate and credible.In order to enable network administrator to make a timely pre-warning and offer a better decision-making reference, this paper also studies the situation of network security forecast. This paper sums up the usual process of time series analyzing, which was used to forecast the situation in future. The experiments prove the method credible and effective. The purpose is achieved.
