The Design Of Integrated Navigation Console And The Research Of Information Fusion

The Navigation system in ships is the basic safeguard for sailing. The Integrated Navigation Console (INC) is the important equipment in the system. The system performance is improved by assembling different equipments and methods with diverse characteristics and applying computer technique, sensor technique, display technique, modern control technique, and data disposal technique in the Navigation system. The application problems of Information Fusion technique is studied in this thesis bases on the INC.It is briefly summarized for the development and the characteristics of Integrated Navigation system and work principle in all kinds of navigation systems. The Information Fusion technique and the Kalman filter technique in Integrated Navigation system are deeply studied and many kinds of integrating principles and data disposal methods base on the Dead Reckoning and inertial navigation are put forward. The simulation of Federated Filtering and Self-adaptive Filtering in Integrated Navigation system is made in this thesis.Based on the requirement analysis, the design schemes for the hardware and software of the INC is presented. With the characters of Integrated Navigation system and the specialty of real time operating system, it is chosen Vxworks operating system and Tornado developing environment. Based on multi-task real time operating system the tasks of INC application is designed for five tasks including information disposal, man-machine conversation, serial communication, network communication and CAN communication. At last a software system which can fulfill the demands of modern navigation is developed.
